Our Discipleship Groups (DGs) form the building blocks of community in our church. Here you will find a like-minded family in Christ to support one another physically, emotionally and spiritually. And a space to exchange experiences and share insights on the Word of God. Through the DGs, you will also be kept abreast of what is happening in the church with respect to its various programmes and services.

WHEN AND WHERE DO DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS MEET?

WHAT’S NEW IN OUR DISCIPLESHIP GROUP?

Starting Fri 11 June 2021, we are excited to embark on a new study series called The Disciple’s Inner Life (leading from within) by Ps Benny Ho. Come and join us for this 8-Week Study that explores the five areas of the inner life which include the arenas of devotion, motivation, contemplation, pre-occupation and restoration. It also explores the importance of personal margin and its importance in enabling a disciple to grow deeper in their relationship with God. This topical series will equip us with the tools and handles needed to build our capacity to lead ourselves more effectively before we can lead others.

WHAT DO WE DO WHENEVER WE MEET?

We usually have a quick catch up with each other while waiting for people to arrive. Most groups open with a short time of worship to draw us into the Presence of God. Then we discuss the Word which may differ from season to season, and vary from a church-wide topical study, to discussion of the previous weekend’s service message, or a study on books of the bible, and could include sharing of personal experiences and encounters with God. And then we close with prayer for one another. Occasionally, we take a week off word study and catch up over a good meal!

Discipleship GROUPS ONLINE DURING THE PANDEMIC

Through the various Phases of the Covid-19 pandemic, our Discipleship groups continue to meet online via Zoom despite the limitations to physical meeting. We value being able to connect with you and journey with you through this period, whether by analog phone or other digital platforms.
